What age students do you teach?

Matt specialises in advanced music tuition and predominantly teaches students high school age onwards. However, don't let this stop you from enquiring if you have a younger child who would love to learn! 

Dani love to teach vocals to all ages + levels of vocalists, and will be taking all our advanced students.

Jess predominantly teaches vocals to younger students aged 7-18, plus adult beginners!

Is it okay if I'm a beginner?

We are more than happy to teach beginners and would love to be a part of your musical journey. Every musician has to start somewhere!

Can I learn online?

Yes! Let us know if you would prefer online tuition and we will arrange for your lessons to be held via Zoom.
Please note: you will require your own keyboard or piano if you are learning piano online.

 Where is the studio?

Our studio is located in Bexley North. You will be given the exact address after submitting your enquiry and a trial lesson has been arranged.

Is there parking?

There is plenty of street parking on our road. 

What time should I get to my lesson?

We don't have a specified waiting area, just a small space for a parent to sit in the hallway, so it's best you arrive at your session start time and ring the doorbell. 

Do I need to bring sheet music to my trial lesson?

If there is a piece you would like to work on, please feel free to bring it to your lesson. As you continue regular lessons, you will be required to bring pieces that your teacher gives you. 

Can you help me with AMEB Exams and Eisteddfod Competitions?

Absolutely! We have extensive performance experience and Jess is able to enrol you for these opportunities.
Please note: AMEB examinations require students to purchase their own grade books, technical work and sight reading books to bring to lessons. These can be bought online via the AMEB website. 
Examinations and competitions have their own enrolment fees which are seperate to student's tuition fees with Academy 88. Jess is happy to enrol students and invoice accordingly - we will not add any costs to do this for you.
